As Uncle Bill and Dad toasted to another year of not dying from any STDs, I was preparing a plate for my invisible brother. Ted has been "gone" for three years now... As Jill looks on, I think she thinks I've lost my mind.

Alice knew this was going to be a bad Thanksgiving, so she just had to chronicle it:
Her husband and Bill offering the yearly toast celebrating the death of their father (the rotten bastard!)
The empty place maintained to show where he would have sat (if the rotten bastard wasn't dead!)
The three full plates her husband insisted on keeping in case the Pep Boys showed up (hey, it could happen!)
Lisa hogging the butter (as if she really needed any more butter!)
But the toppper was when Karen showed up, having been SOMEHOW turned into a centaur (the little diva has to be the center of attention!)
Yep, this was a Thanksgiving for the ages.
